Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. FundedNext allows news trading during both the Challenge and FundedNext Account stages. For Stellar 1-Step, Stellar 2-Step and Stellar Lite funded accounts, trades executed within 5 minutes before or after a listed high-impact news event are subject to the News Reward Share Rule, under which only 40% of the qualifying profit is counted. Losses remain fully the trader's responsibility.
Yes. FundedNext currently allows weekend holding on Stellar 1-Step, Stellar 2-Step and Stellar Lite during both the Challenge and FundedNext Account stages. Stellar Instant also allows overnight and weekend holding, although swap charges apply.
Yes. Overnight holding is allowed. Traders should distinguish overnight holding from swap-free trading because swap charges can still apply unless a swap-free option is selected.
Yes, but EA availability depends on the platform and account size. On MT4 and MT5, EAs are available for accounts below $50,000 through an EA add-on. Accounts of $50,000 and above must be traded manually. EAs are not allowed on cTrader or Match-Trader.
Yes, but only under specific conditions. Copy trading is permitted between your own FundedNext Challenge Accounts, provided the combined capital does not exceed $300,000. Copy trading between accounts belonging to different people, including friends or family members, is prohibited.
Yes, hedging is allowed within the same account. However, hedging across multiple FundedNext accounts is prohibited. Opening opposite positions on different accounts to offset risk can be treated as group hedging and may lead to account termination.
Yes. FundedNext allows scalping, but tick scalping and other forms of exploitative rapid trading are prohibited. High-frequency trading, latency trading and hyperactivity can also trigger enforcement under the firm's prohibited-strategy rules.
No. FundedNext explicitly prohibits High-Frequency Trading. Strategies involving extremely rapid automated order execution or excessive trade frequency can be classified as HFT or hyperactivity and may result in warnings, suspension or account termination.
No. FundedNext lists Grid Trading among its prohibited trading strategies. A grid strategy that places multiple orders at different price levels can result in account termination or other enforcement action.
Yes, but restrictions apply. VPN use is permitted provided the IP does not originate from a restricted country. VPS use is allowed for accounts below $50,000 with an additional fee, while VPS use is not permitted on accounts of $50,000 or above.
The maximum loss depends on the model. Stellar 1-Step has a 6% static maximum loss, Stellar 2-Step has a 10% static maximum loss, Stellar Lite has an 8% static maximum loss, and Stellar Instant uses a 6% trailing maximum loss.
The daily loss limit depends on the model. Stellar 1-Step uses 3%, Stellar 2-Step uses 5%, and Stellar Lite uses 4%. Stellar Instant has no daily loss limit, but it has a strict 6% trailing maximum loss limit.
The standard Stellar Challenge models do not have a general consistency rule. However, individual products can have other performance conditions, such as minimum trading days, Quick Strike limits, risk limits or payout-cycle requirements.
FundedNext states that Performance Reward withdrawals are processed within 24 hours after a valid payout request is submitted. The actual time for funds to reach the trader can additionally depend on the selected payment gateway and any transfer processing.
